Hey guys so my Jackson chameleon was in his cage and I saw blood on his toe. Will he be fine by any chance?
Help bleeding!

Maybe be caught his toe in the screen on your cage?

Yeah that's what I thought too I kept him well hydrated so I'll cross my finger it heals!

Check the toe and the claw. If the claw was torn out or is still partially attached you may need to have a vet look at it. If the claw is gone or really damaged it won't grow back. The toe can become infected, so I would put some Polysporin (not the stuff with pain reliever in it) on any open injury to protect it while it heals. If the toe swells and gets stiff, an infection is spreading.

Yeah all I saw is that his nail is still connected not really pulled up just a small cut on it. I don't have any type of anti bacterial ointment sadly will he still be fine? And my nearest vet is a dog and cat specialist I need some help finding one :/

You can get Polysporin at any grocery or drug store. Its OTC, no prescription. A good thing to have on hand!
