So was wondering if someone could give me some advice please. We have a female veiled chameleon she's 1 year old!!! We live in Massachusetts and its some days get quite warm, on the hot days should I shut off her basking lamp so it doesn't get too hot inside her cage? Right now it's hitting about 95 in her basking spot and it lowers when I spray her. Just don't want her getting to hott thanks everyone!!

If she is getting plenty of light and warmth out doors I would definitely shut off the light during hot weather.

If she is indoors...buy a lower wattage bulb and possibly move her basking spot lower to keep her from overheating and or getting burned.

She is inside...she's been seeming to just hang out down low to keep cool thanks for your advice
