Based on where you live, you have access toLLL reptile for supplies, lots of forum members within a few miles of you, and best of all, a chameleon without shipping. If you have questions we will all be happy to get you started.

Welcome to the forum

Well currently we are having a heatwave - honest - it is 42. That is a heat wave in my area anytime after mid november. I live just south of Canada in the middle of the state of Montana. We will most likely hit at least -30 this winter and a 100 in July. I really miss my Mission Viejo weather. All these seasons are wayyyyyyy over rated.:(:(:(

Welcome to the forums. I keep veileds and panthers and have a parsonii. They are all a great pleasure to care for. For your first chameleon I'd recommend a male veiled or male panther. I'm attaching my blog for new keepers below. It has links that will show pictures of everything that you will need to get started and where you can buy each item. Most local pet stores do not carry the supplies that you need for chameleons.

No one can post in there. You can respond by hovering over the name and pick the option PM them message them.

When they respond you will see a notification top right corner :)

Many start with veild.

Thx everyone for the responses, I really appreciate it.. @ lindawaz:Nice so thats how I can get in touch with members good info to know

there are also site sponsors top right corner. Nothing about a Cham is cheap.

Good luck in which ever Cham you chose. Have you set up done before they arrive so you know everything is working properly. Research a Vet in your area that knows Chams.

Once you have the Cham make an appointment for a fecal and wellness check :)

Thank's linda I appreciate the info, I'll look into a vet that knows Chams.

hey welcome. Im kinda new myself. Everyone here is pretty civil and helpfull.
Dr. Greek in yorba linda is a gr8 vet. He loves exotics i have taken my macaw and dog to him. He has a nice big gargole gecko pair set up right in the lobby. And i also love the fact that most the magazines in the waiting area are reptiles and bird talk. Instead of boring dog/cat mags.

Nice Birdman u have a Macaw, bet thats a nice looking Bird.. Yah u can say that again everybody here is great and thats a good thing.. Dr.Greek I'm gonna check him out see how far he's from me sounds like a cool dude. Once again appreciate the welcome Birdman.
