Hey guys my name is Porscha. Im from NYC, I have just got my first chameleon yesterday hes a Nosey Be Panther. Right now hes roughly 9 months. I had a few questions on regulating heat, i know they need temperatures between 75-80 and a basking spot of 95 allowing it drop at night. But im having some trouble keeping the heat up it fluctuates between 70-73 i am using a 75 watt for heat and a 5.0 UVB

your basking temp is a bit too high. do you think he is under or over 9 months of age? this will help determine where his basking temp ought to be.
this is a section of the caresheet i linked above:
Temperature:
Baby/juvenile (<9 months): ambient 72-80F (22-26C), basking 82F (28C)
Adult males: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 85-90F (29-32C)
Adult females: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 80-85F (26-29C)

at 9 months his basking temp needs to be around 82 degrees. if you are having a hard time keeping it lower then 95, pull the basking bulb a little bit higher up from the cage and see how that works for you!
