Hello darling, how's your day been?

Well I spent most of the day at the country club drinking vodka with a girlfriend and watching our children play in the pool. Buy beer on the way home (Magic Hat Summer Ale Selection), and am THRILLED to find my mailbox is full of worms. Hungry husband arrives home and is met by beer while I unbox, rebox, feed and refrigerate the worms, depending on their need. Husband and children still haven't been fed, but I have a lot of happy worms and a fat sleepy dragon, because he was the only one awake.

Grab a pretzel and something cold from the fridge (mind the worms, no, that's silkworm chow, that's Repashy CGD, no, that's for the tortoises, there you go), take a perch on one of the kitchen stools and while I'm sorting out the nocturnal reptiles with their breakfast, why don't you tell me about your day?

A lot less fun than yours. Cleaned cricket bins, did a couple loads of laundry, cleaned a bit of the house, picked raspberries form the back your and oh yes. sat and watched all my chams.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You got me giggling after a long and busy day cleaning poopy cages, running after lose crickets, talking to my babies and checking on my boxes of cham eggs incubating. So goes my day. Oh yeah, I managed to get to the grocery store and pick up something for dinner which I haven't cooked yet and its 7:30. It may get made and it may not.

Wow sounds like you've had a good day :)

I've been to work for a half day then home to look after a very grumpy 12 year old with a broken arm! Then I got hissed at by my other grumpy girl for offering a silkworm by hand, I know, how could I do such a thing? Lol!

John and I spent the evening cleaning and feeding bugs and sorting out the baby geckos which is always fun as they like to come out to play.

But now it's 00:39 and I can get some nice quiet forum time!

I just saw this, but on the 13th, I was spending my last day of vacation on the island of Bonaire after scuba diving for a week! :D

I hate to ask the obvious question, but since my husband is a divemaster, loves to dive and Bonaire is one of the best diving place around --- WHY DID YOU NOT TAKE HIM? Poor sad hubby, i can't even tell him someone went to bonaire.:(

These past days have been really fun :) Ive been sailing every day for two weeks and Im finally getting better at it! Ive been talking to a lot of friends here at camp, meeting a bunch of people, and missing the forums :/
I love these kinds of threads, keep the posts coming :D

I spent the morning at the New York Aquarium yesterday, then the afternoon on the beach at Coney Island with these people who keep following me about and expecting me to feed them.

Today has been spent cleaning and feeding feeders and feeding and cleaning all the vertebrates in the house.

Because I already was taking 1 hubby, and a 2nd would get a little crowded :D

We got certified in March, and did 20 dives this past week, over doubling our total number of dives to a whopping 37

If you and he ever decide to go - and I can't recommend it highly enough, go to Buddy Dive Resort - they are the best down there. PM me if you need further details, but definately do it!

I passed my driving test today! I've been driving for 10 years, this is the third driving test I've taken, and the second one I have passed... So now I officially have a New York State driving licence! As well as a British driving licence...

today, when i get home from work, i get to put together Amy's new cage, sort Amy's new food that came in (crickets, silk worms, other stuffs), get her supplements, put all the stuff that i've been saving up for Amy's new cage, in the cage and move her over.. It's a pretty exciting day for me and Amy it seems :p

Ugh... I hate gecko cleaning day... found the noisy crickets that hid themselves, and 6 runaway dubias though!

Trillian you have a beautiful family! Well done on those girls, they are so cute! :)

Yes you are very lucky :) my 12 year old is a real crazy hormonal beast from beyond at times! Love her all the same though!

They are 8 and almost 7 at the moment, I suspect we're in for a very rough ride over the next 10 years! Anyone who survives girls has my undying adoration. I know I was a total flipping nightmare! Pretty sure my mum still can't believe I had no children out of wedlock and I'm still very happily married to their father! Though I did get married at 19 to a guy I met on the internet 3 months previously...

Trillian you have such a sense of humour. That is what gets you through. I like teens. That's the age group I choose to foster they can be so rewarding and heartbreaking. And no I don't look after girls.lol

Eek! I got married at 16 to her dad, lasted 9 months! I truly was a terrible teen! It's all good now though :)
