My name is Megan, I have recently decided that I wanted a chameleon. Since when my surprise turtle came into our house I had no idea what do with him, I decided I would do plenty of research on the chams before getting one. We are moving at the beginning of May, so we will hopefully be purchasing one then, that way we know we have everything we need.

Just wanted to say hello and thank you for a wonderful site. I will be browsing around and taking notes to get ready for a new addition to our critter crazed family!!

This is a great idea of coming here and reading a lot before purchasing your first chameleon! They aren't easy animals to raise, but they are definately worth it! Nevertheless, within a few years you won't be able to resist in owning more than one, trust me!

Hi Meg welcome to the forum, if you are a critter loving person you have found home. We have lots of members with lots of knowledge about lots of different animals. You can learn everything here you need to successfully raise a chameleon. Have you looked at "raising kitty, the veiled chameleon" yet? It will offer lots of direction for beginners or advanced keepers. Good Luck
