Height of cage

Hey Gang,

I'm doing some final changes to my cham cage (new sticks, more vines walkways to water etc...) and I read alot not to look down at your Cham. I have a 30" tall cage and am going to place it on a 30" high stand. My cham is a juvi veiled, is this high enough? I wanna make her as comfy as possible and wondered if this is a high enough environment?

Thanks in advance,

Eddie

The higher the better. I think 5 feet will suffice which would be your overall height. If your cham seams stressed at that height you could always raise it later.

All my cages are very high, I'm 6'1 and I have to use a step stool to get in all there cages. Like brownie64 stated "The higher the better"!!!!!!

I prefer setting the cage to a height that has one branch higher than human eye level. When we brought our cage to this height our chameleon seemed more at ease. Gives them a higher option if they want it.

I don't know if just me but no matter how high I put my chamS cage she always seems to hang out at the top of the cage and only ventured down why she was receptive and to lay it like she only uses 25% of her cage. Oh and I tried putting her feeder cup down low hopeing she would come down she just decided not to eat til I put back up
