Heating xl repti breeze issues!!

Hey I got a repti breeze xl and I can't get the temps hot enough the bottom is in the high 60s and the top is around 90. I am worried that the bottom is to cold. I will be keeping a panther. I use a 100 watt and a 40w ceramic heater. Could I maybe use a heatpad??

I think as long as you have a decent temperature gradient, you're fine. I wouldn't worry about the bottom being in the high 60's as long as other spots are warmer, so he can pick what temperature he wants.
What are you using to measure your temps? A digital thermometer (temp guns are great, too) are much better than the analog/dial type, in my opinion.

According to the care sheets and what I've read here, they can handle a night time temp of 50 degrees F. In the winter, my home is usually in the mid to high sixties.

Just started cooling off here

I am facing same issue. It just started cooling off here in Southern CA. We had rain last night. Been way too long since that happened.
Anyway room temps are down and basking area no longer gets up to 90 degrees. It barely hits 83 now. Floor of Repti breeze is just over 60 degrees. Time to get a ceramic heat lamp for the chilly nights to come.
I am looking into types of heaters or brands. I do not want any light at night but I do need heat as it will get down to 50 to 55 in the room.
Chance Leon is an Ambilobe Panther over 12" long. Been pretty healthy since I cut down on the calcium with D3. Still only eats super worms and maybe a very few crickets.
I am considering the ceramic ones that have a coil of wire over a ceramic fixture and screw into a regular reflector socket. I have also seen sealed units. I will include a thermostat in it to turn it off as temp is achieved.
Looking for heater suggestions.

Could I use a zoo med red night time bulb for heat? Or is it to bright??

No red bulb. They need complete darkness. Ceramic heat emitter is the way to go if you must. Just know it is perfectly fine if it gets to 50 degrees at night as long as he's getting the necessary heat during the day. It's actually really good for them to get a good drop in temps at night.

Okay I will use a ceramic. And is 50 degrees at night fine for a 2 month old panther chameleon?? And what should the basking temp be for him?

I use the ceramic bulbs. Wow but yes no heat in the west coast? Sorry I would freeze at 50. But I really live in the wrong state for winters. We already had snow.
