Heating pads...

I jsut ordered a heating pad, for my roach enclosure, that I thought was a 24 hour heating pad but I just opened it and guess what... Ya 60 minute pad... Does anyone know where I can find a 24 hour heating pad. The Walgreens where i live does not have 24 hour heating pads. So any ideas or any other suggestions to keep the heat up in my roach enclosure would be fantastic! Thanks!!

First, how much do you need to raise the roach colony temp? What's the temp in the warmest part of your house (such as a water heater closet, near a furnace, on top of a refrigerator, etc)?. I put my roaches on a high shelf near my furnace closet. Heat rises and the shelf stays between 76 and 80 F without extra heat. They breed just fine!

Check with herp supply websites for undertank terrarium heaters. There are many types, wattages, sizes. Look for one that has a thermostat control or you'll cook the roaches.

I found mine at a pharmacy. It is 24hr and is made by sunbeam if that helps. good luck on the search.
