heat bulb

quick question my heat bulb has blown 2nite and haven't got a spare to replace it lit the morning. his lights come on at 8 and can't get a new bulb lit 10. will a normal light bulb be ok for a heat source

r u talking like a basic house bulb, like a 65 watt or 75 is fine, its what i use

Im using a regular 40W household bulb as my heat lamp for my little nosy be. Id say use a household bulb even if it isnt too strong, just so your cham can warm up a bit and not be cold.

yeah that is fine, that is all I ever use are house bulbs.

I only ever use a regular household incandescent light in a hooded dome as a source of heat during the day for my reptiles. Why buy the expensive ones when these work??
