Can Chameleon’s hear anything?

From what I've researched, They don't have great hearing or sense of smell. They sense through vibration, and compensate the lack of hearing and smell senses with extremely advanced eyesight.

They can hear some low frequency sound but not much.

No bumping the bass around the chameleon.

Its interesting that chameleons did not evolve an external ear like many other reptiles.

I believe there "hearing" starts just below human voice frequencies. I think the high cut off is like 1khz. On the bright side they can at least see in ultraviolet to make up for it.
