Head shaking?

I was feeding my 6 month old veiled super worms and when she grabbed one, she shook it around for a second really hard before walking away from where she was and swallowing it. Did it bite her or was she just trying to kill it? She kept eating afterwards so I don’t think it was anything serious but I’ve just never seen her do that before.

Did you happen to catch a video of it? How big was the worm compared to your cham? Are you sure that you have a female?

mine will often thrash side to side with a large (grasshopper, stick bug or large hornworm) to kill it and also grab them with their front clampers...I'll try to get a picture next time

I don’t have a video of the worm but it was about 2 inches and it looked like an older worm like it’s arms were all out and it was moving a lot while I was holding it

Okay thanks I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t the only one since I couldn’t find out anything about it online, probably should’ve used the word thrashing lol

And I’m like 75% sure she’s a female, she doesent have any spurs but also she hasn’t laid any eggs and her crest looks a little tall for a female
