He just wont eat.

My 6 month old cham has turned away from crickets totally and i have recently offered supers and he had 1 yesterday and 2 today. I dont know if he is gradually getting used to them or what. But i got home from work about an hour ago and he was sleeping, i know thats not good so what can i do to get him eating again?

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage construction (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and type of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Location - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.
Current Problem - The current problem that you are concerned about.

cage- 20x18x12 screen zilla
lighting- 18" reptisun 5.0 uvb and fixture, daylight blue uva & heat bulb and fixture
tempture- my basking is 85 to 90. floor is mid 70. lowest night temp is 65. digital thermo
humidity- 40 to 6o. habba mist and ficus. analog guage
plants- small ficus live
lacation- on a night stand, no air vents not a traffic area.

cham- ambilobe panther, male, 6 months, 1 month
handling- 2 or 3 times a week
feeding- crickets was puting 10 a day, feed every morning at 8, gut load flukers cricket diet, with mix greens
supplements- rep cal calcium w/ vit d, herptivite
watering- habba mister every 3 hours 30 sec duration
fecal description- smaller now but typical brown black with white at end. not tested that im a awere of
history- not sure only owned a month. when i first got he was on 10 crickets a day now 2 to 0
problem- not eating as much as he shold. on ate 2 supers all day.

You double posted in the General Discussion and also in the Health Clinic. That makes things kind of confusing for the rest of us.

I see that on this post you included a photo. He kind of looks like he's about to shed (although he may just be pale because he's young). Shedding can greatly reduce their appetite, too. But, just to be sure:

Could you describe your lighting more clearly? Are you saying you have a UVB fixture and bulb, and then a second double fixture with a daylight blue uva AND a heat bulb? EDIT: Oops, I think I misread that- you meant a daylight bulb, for UVA and heat.

Your cham needs a good drop in temps at night. Also, I would think that a daytime basking temp of 85 for a 6 month old panther would be better than 90. His day and night temps may just be a bit too high, leading to problems.

Does he appear to be well hydrated? Do you actually see him drinking?

Also, can you describe your supplement schedule in detail? He may be getting too much Vitamin D. How often do you dust your crickets, how heavily, and with which supplement each time?
