he is very dark in cage

so i got my cham today, he is 4 3/4 months old. I put him in his cage and he has been moving around and eating/drinking, but he is very dark colours (see pic 1) i then took him out while i moved something and he brightened up (see pic 2). why is this?

IMO give him time to settle he may be stressed. Or its to cold and he's dark to absorb heat.

temps are fine, maybe just stress..

If the temps are good then I would also agree that it is stress. Let him have time to settle in.
