Have you used these for neonates?

they also sell these as praying mantis cages, there was a thread sometime back about the best way to bring a cham home from a show and i recomended these (different source but same thing)also walgreens sells what they call a folding laundry basket that is very similar, they come in a horizontal and a vertical version for about $6, in black or white, but being designed for laundry they have an open top but with a little mod, they still make a great cage for sunning neonates or bringing a cham home from a show and at $6 you can use them tell they get dirty and throw them away. not a bad little arraingement if the price is right but i dont know that i would ever pay full price for one. jmo

How would it work if you flipped the ones over with an open top and put them in some sort of tray to collect the waste/water runoff?

I haven't used them for neonates but I have used them for transport. I just close the top with safety pins. I buy the cages as laundry baskets at the dollar store.:)

PS I am so bright that until I read the replies I thought you wanted to know about feeding babies.lol
