Hatchling eyes swollen

When my baby veiled chams started hatching I noticed a few had swollen eyes. Almost all the eggs have hatched (29) and so far 3-4 are like this. I noticed they rub their eyes on the vines and I'm thinking maybe it's possible these chams got incubation medium in them causing the eyes to become like this? I use Hatchrite to incubate eggs. Has anyone had this happen before? Can I do anything for them like gentimicin eye drops? It's antibiotic eye drops I use for rescued reptiles. I still have some left that I could use. I'm afraid if the eyes don't look normal soon that they won't be able to eat and they will die. What should I do? Should I treat them? Should I not use Hatchrite any more if that's the cause or is this something that happens that I can't prevent? Thanks in advance.

I'm far from an expert but usually the people here recommend misting to help chams clean out their eyes if they have stuff in them. If they are swollen, I'm afraid I'm no help. Someone else should chime in soon.

Thanks. I have been misting them but they just keep rubbing their eyes:( They drink the water and crawl around all day with their eyes closed:(

I am no expert either, but i asked a question about eye drops just a few days ago, and was told pure saline solution can be used to rinse chams eyes out.

Thanks. I dont have regular saline solution so I'll have to get some and see if it works and if not I guess I'll try the antibiotic eye drops.
