Hatching help?

We have one egg that appears slightly cracked. It had some initial yellow ooze and now it's clear ooze. Is this a sign something is wrong or just simply hatching?

Is it cracking at the end date of the egg? How long have they been incubating and what species is it?

The crack was in the middle of the egg and we have Ambilobe panther chameleons.

Sounds like your substrate might be too moist.

What is the climate like where you live,and is this your first time hatching?

The egg got smaller and now darkened in color. The other eggs are big and look good. We live in Florida. This is our second batch the first one did not make it because it was too moist. We have not added any water to this batch and the basically left it alone

What are the eggs being incubated on?
Where are they? What temperature are they being kept at?

The eggs are in vermiculite. They are half buried.

They are in a plastic Tupperware container with three holes poked into the top in on average the house is kept at 75. They are on the top shelf of our linen closet.
