Hatching an egg

this is the guy i bought my cham from too.......I know he was just in it for the money.......Have yall ever heard of selling eggs one by one??

I'm always weary of people who say something is "easy" but then do not do it themselves. ie. why wouldn't he just hatch the babies and sell them for $165-200 if it was "easy?"

see thats what i was thinking......and really if i ended up watsing 20 bucks its not that big of a loss......But if it did hatch that would be GREAT......

nooooooo i thought u could just putyting a heating light......thats why i posted this thrwead to find out what to do!

Hello. It is pretty easy to hatch them I think:eek: The hard part is caring for 25 or so of them;) That is probably something he wants to avoid wether it be he doesnt have enough time or he realized how time consuming and the cost of raising a group of them are.

How old are the eggs? You want to make sure if you do get one that the egg doesnt get turned at all when transfering to a different container. This will probably be the hardest part. If you hqave 20$ to gamble with and you want to raise one from a baby I say go for it. Maybe even get 2 just to make your odds a little better:)

I just noticed they are around a month old:eek: I keep all of my panther eggs in a cabinet right by the thermostat in my house. If you keep them at room temps and they are fertile they should hatch eventually. If you want to get intricate with them you can search the net and find a couple sites with good info. I think chameleoncompany.com has a good rundown on incubating eggs as does adcham.com and a few others. They should all come up using a search with google.

incubating eggs is not hugley difficult. Container, slightly damp vermiculite, dark closet, warm. then wait. A search on this forum should net you loads of infp. But I dont think I'd buy an egg from someone I didnt very much trust

.....So Im thinking I will go and get an egg or 2.......I plan to put them in a tuperware dish and the guy said he would give me some of that white stuff.....Im going to put it at the top of my closet...Is this correct?? Any advice is needed!:D
