Hey everyone, how's it goin?

Well to start off, Im a little worried about my boy... He hasnt shed in almost two months. Is that normal for an 8 m.o panther? I also recently got a new table to put his cage on, but it is alot shorter than the one he was on, so now his cage is about my height which is about 6 ft. Lately i notice that whenever i walk by him he puffs up then does sort of a yawn, then he shakes super fast. He has also been head bobbing me and my family alot more when we look at him in his cage. Is that his way of saying back off, because his cage is alot lower than it was before? Could the excessive puffing up and yawning be his way of trying to stretch out and start to shed?

Or could it be a sign of a R.I? I also dont see any excess saliva when he does this:confused:

As they get older, they shed less often. At 8 months you basically have an "almost adult" chameleon. If he sheds every 3 months I would be surprised at this point.

He probably does feel the loss of height. They like to loom. Is there a way to get him back up to his accustomed height? If you can do that, I'm sure he will settle down. Ideally, I think you want the top of the cage at least 6 inches above the top of your head (I'm sure this is just to make it more difficult for old ladies like me to mist).

Even if you could just give him another 3 or 4 inches so he could get well above your eye level, he'd probably appreciate that.
