Hanging light

I just bought this light bracket to hang up my heat lamp but it only has a way to hang it up if you have a glass enclosure does anyone else use one of these with a mesh enclosure and if so how did hang it on the enclosure

Drill holes that line up with your frame... Then you want to use 1/4 inch screws nothing larger or you risk going into the inside of the cage. I left the sticky protector on it and did not remove it.

Do I need to have a clamp for the lamp to hang it on the bracket?

Yep

Yes and no. So if you have the dome fixture that has the hook to hang it then your good. If not it will be hard to hang it. I use the 5.5 inch diameter clamp lamps because I can hook them in and get an angle as well.
