Handfeeding a Cham

Hey guys how do you get a chameleon to start shooting his tongue again. I used to buy large sized crickets until now that I buy medium sized crickets. My panther maybe a week ago would destroy these guy but ever since I started handfeeding him. I don't see him shoot as much. I actually put a container in his cage and I put 3 superworms in it but when i came back he didn't eat any so I handfed him. I feed him every day because e is a juvenile male Cham that I want to grow him real big. Any suggestions people.

I found that the girl who hates people will hand feed on silkies if I have them hanging onto a leaf so she doesn't automatically know my hand's behind it. Just make sure the leaf isn't going to rip cause they might accidentally ingest it.

That is still handfeeding. I mean like I want to just pu crickets in hi cage and leave instead of dropping them in his mouth when he opens it.

Then just leave them in. Take them out at night if he doesn't eat then. He'll get hungry enough eventually. When people hand feed they don't usually drop the bugs into the chams mouth. Also, supers don't always move enough in containers to catch a chams attention. Try putting them on the screen.

I usually take the back legs off the large crickets and place them on the sides of the screen cage. They almost always go up and stay near the top. From there my cham just strolls around and picks them off at his leisure.
