So i may leave Yoda alone, he is a bastard child! I have had him for 9months, he is 2 and I cant touch him. Have yall been bit by one before? Very freaky! So my thought was too put his small cage on top of the New Huge cage. That way he would just coast on out, wrong the door was open all weekend. No chameleon Moving day happened! So with that said, will you advise me on getting him too move into the penthouse?

You could try getting a stick, maybe he'll climb onto that. Or you could take the entire plant he is on out with you?

EDIT: Biting usually isn't that bad. They'll bite and let go, and SOMETIMES it will draw blood. However, if you pull your hand out when they bite you, or if they do a "death roll", it can easily draw blood. That is when they bite you, hold on, and shake aggressively. Be careful with that! Theres a thread on here of someone who had to get 5 stitches because of it.

with aggressive chams i just very slowly bring my hand in fron the front and below the cham then slowly but deliberalty with out fear bring your hand under their front feet..
they may try to intimidate you but just stay calm and they usually climb right on your hand.
try light colored clothing and avoid eye contact

i take to responsibility if you get bit!!!! LOL best of luck
or u could wuss out and get a glove

I got one wild child also. He's a wc that just hates everyone me incl. I just use a pair of leather gloves to handle him. If I got the gloves on he wont bite. If I try to pick him up without them I swear I get bit every time. And he will draw blood. Last time he left a nice triangular bloody bite mark on my hand. Never been bit bad enuff to need stitches though.

Can you put the small cage inside the big cage? Or rig it so the chameleon has to climb UP from the small cage into the big cage? They like to loom so giving them something up above their heads that they can climb to usually interests them.

Also dOnt be stupid like me and think a lousy flimsy sock over your hand is going to protect you. Lol! It won't... I learned my lesson.

I'd try something similar to this, remove the roof of the smaller cage and place inside the larger cage on the floor. If necessary add branches out the top so he knows there's a way out. It won't be long before being too low and a mode of exit is realized. Place moving feeders above and let nature take it's course.
