habitat question

Is there and waht kind of materials can I use to keep his misting water from going out of his cage? I'm VERY new to owning a cham. I did as much research as I could before purchasing him, but doesn't seem like i can mist his habitat enough without the water getting all over my walls? I have a 2x2x36 screen cage?

people use plastic trash bags or shower curtains. Also helps maintain the humidity.

i had heard about that but didn;t know if that would have a bad affect on him or not?
