..rigging it with a different nozzle? I just thought it might be possible somehow, and maybe it wouldn't be so crappy if you could fit it with a better "misting" nozzle.
hmm, yea, it seems like there should be a way. Im thinking about taking my chances and paying 8.99 plus shipping for the cheapest mist king nozzle and trying it out. how satisfying that would be if it worked. of course no substitute for a real mist king, i imagine, but still a lot better.
i got the habimist and took it back....it doesnt mist at all and is a pain in the butt..its loud it kinda sprays large drops and there is no way to get it todo what you want....id go with a mistking...i dont have one yet but eventually....
Mine works okay, I agree the nozzle could be better, but I find it sufficient for the price. I spent like 40 on mine where as I believe the mistking is 100 or so?
Get what you pay for, but it does do the job.
Changing the nozzle seems fairly easy, but it may be easier to find a tube/nozzle combo and just find a new way to fit the tube to the mister instead of trying to fit a smaller mister nozzle on the small tubing.
exactly. yes its annoying and spits water, but I position it above a bunch of fake leaves and bam, a steady supply of water, even if im not around. my cham always seems hydrated. im aware the mist king is far better, but until I get my hands on it, it seems constructive to try and improve this piece of crap if i can.
good point about tube/nozzle combo, that might work better. I did think about maybe the motor itself not being good enough, like lizardlover said there just might not be enough pressure, but it can't hurt to try something.
