Gymnast or problem

So very happy our new guy is getting his first shed. He seems to want to hang around the lighting like this his temps are good in the whole enclosure so not sure why he insists on hanging around here. BTW I'm well aware he's in a glass enclosure. We keep new or smaller ones there until at least 2 sheds as easier to control temp and humidity.

Not completely but he was soooo skinny. We have has him about a month and has been getting the proper supplements and lighting and humidity levels and food. So not sure if this is a skill or defect.
