Interesting that those are the ingredients of the Mazuri tortoise pellets. I hear tortoise people raving about them all the time. I prefer to feed my herd of torts fresh fruits and veggies since it makes so much sense to know exactly what nutritional value they're getting and I know it's fresh, so I hadn't looked into it much. That doesn't seem like an ingredient list I would be pushing as being so good for nutrition and growth for my torts...I'm surprised they get so much praise.

I dont think it should be used as the main diet. I usually mix 2 pellets in with his veggies.
 
i give my feeders cricket crack along with carrots, oranges, tomatoes, strawberries, apricots, and other things. It is essential to gutload your feeders :D im sure other members will give you more detailed info

Tomatoes are not good to feed, as they are toxic and will prevent calcium absorption in your chameleon.
