Gutloading (blended, chopped, whole?)

How exactly does everyone prepare their gutload. Would blending up veggies and fruits and freezing them in ice tray containers be the same as just chopping them up everytime? It seems like it would save the food from going bad. Just curious as to what everyone does

Pretty sure I read somewhere that freezing your veggies isnt a good idea. I think it reduces the nutrition values.

I chop up a few fruits and stick them in a tupperware in the fridge so for the next week or so I can just pull stuff out. I throw veggies in whole - crickets decimate it just fine in huge pieces. Freezing can break down some of the nutrients, but so does shipping veggies and them sitting in your fridge for weeks. If you get fresh greens (like locally grown, farmer's market style) and freeze them asap that's the best way to preserve the value I think. Some people freeze theirs. But either way, you're going to have some loss just because the veggies are dying after being picked, we're just slowing it down. :)
