Does anyone know if I can gutload with these:
parsley
dill
thyme
chives
leek
zucchini

I live in Poland and I guess our availability of veggies is different than in US, cause I can't find few of recommended gutloading products.
Please let me know if you have any info. :)

Im prety sure you should avoid leeks.

you cant find carrots, bell peppers, mustard greens, potatoes, butternut squash?

Well those are actually common, exept butternut squash. It very hard to find the squash. I'm asking about the above, because they are most of the time in my kitchen and I know they grow here, so they should be healty. Im unconvinced when it comes to imported food especially those uncommon ones, cause Im pretty sure they are loaded with some toxic stuff.

Kale is a good one too, should be easy to get in Poland. Steamed sweet potato too.

Sandrachameleon has a blog full of gutloading ideas. I'd strongly recommend checking it out.

I feel you on difficulties of availability - I'm in the middle of the North Sea so not too far away :)

Thanks, I read it very often :)
It's just all those fresh and healty spices are in my kitchen and it would be a waste if it happened to be very good for my bugs and I wouldn't feed them with it :D

I read somewhere that you shouldn't use parsley as it is high in something you don't want but I forget what it was :)

What foods do you have a hard time finding?
just wondering,
grape leaves, mullberry, papaya, squash.
Maybe I wasn't precise before. It isn't hard to find most of the veggies, it's just other are more common. My way of thinking is: if it grows here - it's healthier then imported food.

Well, tell us what you do have access too and we can go from there.

that help any?

I mean besides what you already posted.
;)

hm.. what about lemons? I saw them listed somewhere but I'm not 100% sure if they are safe

when I think of anything else I'll let you know ;)
