Gut loading crickets

Hi so I read that gut loading crickets is a good thing so I plan on doing that. Is it ok to feed these 4 ingredients to the crickets? Carrot, Apple, orange, and potatoe. I plan on mashing it together or could I feed them a slice? Also do I have to give it a water run or do they get it from the fruits. Thank you so much sorry for asking a lot I'm a noob at feeding crickets.

no water run, maybe a mist every once in awhile because you don't want the substrate bone dry especially if you are trying to get them to lay eggs.

Ok thank you so much:) So I plan on feeding this I based this off of what I have in the kitchen. Romaine, dandelion, carrot, Apple, broccoli or cauliflower stem and maybe some alfalfa. Also may I know what you guys gut load your crickets with and have had the most success thank you so much.:)

What kind of chameleon do you have? You need to gut load the feeders with greens they are excellent. You can use collard greens, dandelion, endive, kale, bell pepper, carrots, sweet potato, butternut squash apple and orange. You can also buy a premixed dry gut load. One of the Forums members sales Cricket Crack. Dry gut load for sale.
Sandrachameleon has some good blogs on gut loading such as the one linked above.

I have Jackson chameleons. Also i have supplements for my chameleon do I just dust the crickets everyday and feed or do I only dust twice a week? Or every day? Thanks

It depends on how old your Jacksons are and if they get any outside time. Jacksons normally don't require as much supplements as a veiled or panther.

Thank you so much what I have in kitchen right now is Apple kale squash and dandelion leaves do I have to mash them together or give it to them whole. Also thanks for the link I now have a general idea on gut loading but kinda shakey on it.:)
