Growth

in the beginning like young ones yes but to a certain extent

you do not want to grow them too fast or else their bone growth wont keep up and you can cause a form of brittle bones like mbd

in older chams not really you get them really fat which is bad too

the trick is to find out your chams eating habits and find whats too little and whats too much, find a balance and work with it

Ace is absolutely right about not growing them fast. Its hard to keep the balance of nutrients right so that the bones can keep up. In the wild they get what they need from their diet but in captivity its hard to provide it completely.
