Growth?

I know Chams grow differently depending on all the various things (gender, diet, supplements, exc.....) but how fast is too fast? I have had Sayid for just over 2 months.

First photos I took...no spots or stripes, small veil....3/21
set

Last Night...much more color, much larger veil
set

Am I over feeding him maybe....he gets about 6-8 crickets a day about 3/4 inch, some worms every other day (meal, super, or horn) and some fliers every third day (moths, hoppers, pray mantis babies)
Just wondering if he is growing to fast.....

he looks great my panther just went through a growth spurt lil bugger doubled in size in like a month

I don't think there is something as too fast. He looks good. I've had many lizards get huge over the course of a month or two. Not only in length and "adult" looking, but in weight. He looks amazing, keep up the good work!

He is obviously very happy with the way you keep and feed him. Well done, keep it up even when he starts to hiss at you! One or two more months......

:D He just started that this week. He hissed a few times before, I think just being startled, but this week he's been a little grouch. He scurried up into the far corner of his enclosure and I reached over and moved a plant and he lunged like he as gonna bite me and hissed...I laughed at him and said " HA, you missed" :D Then today he puffed up all big and bad when I reached for him, he let me pick him up and then he dropped his throat down and opened his mouth...again I just laughed and told him he lost the battle!! lol...I LOVE HIM

Yeah, just do that and he'll likely only ever threaten :). Only my monitor lizard ever tried to bite me, and you can't expect a Chameleon not to hiss if you're going to pick him up....you might lose a battle yet if he takes you by surprise with a tail whip...

Actually I had a corn snake that bit me when I was a kid. Most aggressive pet I every had. She was cool though, unfortunately amazingly strong. Got out a couple of times. I only had her 2 months. Never got another snake but I like lizards better anyway.....
