Growing crickets

Has anyone found that there are faster ways to get cricks larger. I have just started a crick farm and my first batch prob 200 is growing way slower than the second. The only diference is in the second i droped a bunch of the dirt from the layin bin in there and had to leave no way to seperate.
The first batch almost three weeks now r still just tiny.
any ideas they are fed and watered well.

how old r they? whats the temperature? make sure u give them plenty of hiding places. i heard to keep the lights on them 24/7... maybe thats just for breeding? keep in mind, dont offer them more than they can eat. offer them very thin slices of orange for a water source. my crix love kale, sweet potato, carrots, apples, and oat meal. try to make a dish for them, shaped so they can step up and eat out of it, but not of them walking over in it, getting wet crickets sucks, they smell like... uuuuughhhhh...lol.

hows there no way to separate the soil from the crix? do you not spot clean your cricket cage? just wipe the cricket garbage, with the soil into a corner of the cage. the crickets will move out of your hand's way. just go slowly so u dont run over crickets lol. also make sure it is not too crowded. big die off from over crowded colonies.

sorry if this doesnt make much sense... i am very tired...

They would be fresh hatched my temps about 80. and i figured id just end up squishin the pinheads if tried to remove my dirt spil before they got bigger.
and im tryin to get away from buyin cricks its an hour and half drive to get em one way.
also getin ready for baby veilds so want to ba able to prodce tuns of pinheads when the chams hatch

there is tones of egg cartons they hide in not havin any problems keepin them alive. I just thought they would grow alot faster than they are. They would be three weeks oldand still be considered pinheads

ya im givin them about 4 choices oranges, comercial crick feeder, small amount of kitten food, and usually change up the forth. all food sources are kept clean and fresh tones of water in chic feeder with a type of coton to keep em from drowndin.

Im mostly confused as to why the second batch is growing so much faster they are twice the size and almost two weeks NEWER than first batch. Same food only diference is the dirt.

Its not a big deal they are staying small maybe even a good thing down the road when baby chams hatch but i just couldnt figure out why one group could grow so much faster than the other when the only diference was a bit of dirt in their container.
