Grow lighting?

I want to put a grow light on chads enclosure for the weeping fig in his cage because it doesn’t seem to get enough light on the back of the plant from the window. Is it possible to give my chameleon too much lighting by adding a grow light? Or will I be fine? I attached a picture of the lighting I already have.

I was thinking just a small 6 in full spectrum grow light or something of the sort

Is the Sun too much lighting? You'd have to go a LOOONG way to reproduce that much light.
Go ahead and add more plant lights if you want; just a few caveats:

• Would periodically rotating the plant help?
• Be aware of all your plants' lighting requirements. Ficus benjamina likes bright indirect/filtered light.
• Monitor your enclosure temps; LEDs don't produce a lot of heat, but they do produce some.

Sansi makes excellent grow lights with long life & warranty. I like the 70W, but it's the only grow light I have (I have 2 of them on a double-wide enclosure).
