the first one is cheaper which one is better?

I have no clue which one is "better". They have the same stuff inside, the cheaper one puts out less light. But neither are a true grow light. They are direct replacements for 6500k T5HO bulbs. If you want a true full spectrum grow light, check out the recommendations in the thread from the led snobs.

ok thanks

That is a good one.

here is the high power version of that one

Now as a criticism, you are all over the map with your posts in terms of wattage. So far you have posted a; 34 watt bar, 40 watt spot, and now a 24 watt spot.

So you tell me, what are you looking for? What area are you trying to light up, and what type of plant? All your choices have been good, im just trying to steer you to the in expensive grow lights vs the ones with the pretty lizard on the box :)

Alright look i'm not an expert with lights, I actually had no clue about the wattage I thought they were all 24's. Thanks for pointing that out.

I'm just looking for a light to help my live plants grow because they are currently starting to struggle.
The plants...lets see.... I have pothos, corn plant, ficus, monstera, and i've just ordered some air plants.

Now see i can work with that. You need 5000 lumens per reptibreeze XL in addition to your UVB bulb. So just pick out the sansi grow light in the shape you want, that puts out 5000 lumens. Looks like you will need about 30-35 watts of light.

I don't have a repti breeze xl, I have 2 24x18x36 exo terra glass cages, and a custom 30x18x36 hybrid (mostly screen) hope this helps

Well lets do some maths, but it will be measured in yankies

24x24 bottom is 4 sqft or (x144) 576sq inch , and that needs 5000 lumens to be considered good enough to grow a hibiscus.

18x36 bottom is 648 sq inch.

So you need a bit more than 5000 lumens.
So you are a tweener. You need 2-3 of the 15 watt units per cage
https://www.amazon.co.uk/SANSI-Artificial-Greenhouses-Vegetables-Hydroponics/dp/B081DZ8Z31?th=1

id start off with 2 per cage. And in a few months if things are not looking good, switch to 3 which would be 1 bulb per foot of cage.

That is very one I use on my Exo terra and it does a awesome job. Plants are growing like crazy. You and I had this talk awhile ago. You said your plants had been doing great for a long time and your parents didn't see the need for you to buy this light because of that.

I understand that math.

Since 648sq inches isnt far off from 576sq inches, dosent it not really make sense to purchase enough lighting for 1,052sq inches but only use it for 648sq inches?

Do you think I could buy 4 lights for 3 cages, and the alternate that one light? so basically once every three days it gets a lot of lighting but the other 2 days its just short? Or does it not work like that?

we have noticed in the past month or so they've started to droop a little (not sure if being summer and hot has to do with anything?)and since it was my bday 2 days ago they are willing to spend cash. I also have just purchased more plants - I also bought air plants and i've heard that they need lighting more than the others. Is this true?
