groups of chameleon

Are you asking because you don't have enough room for separate cages and want to consolidate them?

Mellerii are one of the best to be in groups, though I'm not sure what sex ratio.

Some montaine species can live in groups.

I've heard of a male quadricornis and male Ambanja panther being kept
together in a chameleon condo before.

I've seen a 1.2 of veileds kept together in a relatively large enclosure before.

Female jacksonii can usually be kept together, and I've seen them kept together.
Females of many motane species can be kept together.

What are your reasons for keeping groups together? What kind of space
is available for this project?

The most important thing to keeping chameleons in groups is maintenance,
visual maintenance. You need to keep an eye on them several times
throughout the day, every day, to try and catch them in their natural
behavior without you around. Any signs of dominance or stress and you
gotta separate them.

But it can be done.

thank you for the answer
the terrarium is 3,75x1,75x4h feet or 110x50x120h cm
I like fuelleborni,jacksonii,quadricornis

female xantholophus will often house harmoniously together if the cage (CAGE NOT TERARRIUM ) is large enough, but it also depends on how well things are setup & the personalties of the chams themselves , no two chams are the same, even among the same (&sub) genus. / btw that avatar looks like an flchams photo to me ?
