Grip Twists for vines

Anybody use these? I saw them in a store and thought they would be good vines. They are a lot like the flexible rubberish reptile vines, but kind of spongy on the outside.

I don't know if they would be water proof or not. Water soaking into them could be horrible to clean and.full of.bacteria and.mold/mildew.. but if there water proof. They'd be a great comfy orthopedic vine for old chams. Lol. Right along with.pressed denim pants and velcrow shoes

I bought 2 boxes of them at Costco but never used them. I purchased bio vine instead. I like a natural look and they don't look natural.
