grey casque

Hi

My veiled boy has a casque that's pretty much just grey, along with most of his face. He shed the other day and I thought it would brighten up but it didn't. Is this normal?

My boyfriend joked he wouldn't find a girl with a casque like that, but I am a little worried.

Pic are on this thread. The little wound on his mouth was just bug juice & is all gone now.

I say it does look unusual, but doesn't seem to be anything to worry about. Maybe you could produce a new breed of silver-casqued Veileds and make some money out of him......

How old is he? My one looks like that color when he's just chillin but get him fired up and wow total change

my veiled casque seems to turn grey as it grows slightly larger it might just be a growing thing.

He's 7 months old. I like the silver idea, better than grey lol
If it's nothing to worry about then that's good. When he fires up you can see some colour but it's like it hidden under a layer of scales
