grey casque and possibly blocked nose

hi my male veiled chameleon’s casque has been grey looking for a while. i’m also concerned one of his nostrils looks kinda blocked but it could just be shed.

Huh…his casque is still pale. Since it hasn’t changed in any way to indicate any problem or something like shedding, that just may be part of his natural coloration. Honestly, I don’t know what else to tell you. My male veileds have always kept me guessing when it came/comes to natural coloration.
I can’t see what may be going on with his nose, but I am going to suspect it may be snalt.

Do you have a picture of before it was grey in contrast? Did you see the parents, or any siblings? Is it possible he might have a pie mutation?

Edit to add, just looking at your post from March. I think your little man likely has the pie gene.

omg i hadn’t even considered the pie gene that totally could be it. i just looked it up to get some more info on it and it definitely could be that!!
