Green urates

My panther has had green urates for about a Month now and I was wondering if I should do a fecal test. I have no idea what vet near me would do one but otherwise he is a very healthy panther. Also the urate is half green half white.

Don't you hate autocorrect? Green Pirates...that sounds painful.

I have never had this happen personally, but I have read that green urates are indicative of liver issues. Something having to do with conversion of biliverdin to bilirubin.

I would PM @ferretinmyshoes and ask her. I would also be taking him to the vet.

You seem to have two threads that are the same. I posted to the other thread. Joel is correct, green urates indicate liver problems. (For those with parrots, colored urates often mean they have eaten dyed food and are not a problem. Colored urates in birds are not always indicative of liver disease.)
