Gray tail discoloration

Your Chameleon - Panther, female, 6 months, we've had her for 3 months
Handling - We handle Kali about once a week.
Feeding - Crickets and horn worms, we gutload with a blend of mustard greens, water cress, bok choy, green beans, carrots, alfalfa sprouts, oranges, papaya, mango, fuji apples and bee pollen that we puree and then freeze into cubes and feed 1 cube at night and then we select the crickets that we are feeding that day into a keeper and feed them cricket crack. She typically eats about 6 crickets daily and 1-2 worms every few days but her appetite has been low for the past 4 days or so. Her last big meal was 2 worms.
Supplements - we use reptical calcium w/o d3 daily, rep cal w d3 2x a month and zoomed reptivite w/o d3 2x a month
Watering - We have a low profile aquazamp raindome, misting about 6 times a day at various lengths of time, shortest being 5 minutes, longest 15 min, i do see her drink.
Fecal Description - today's droppings were very large brown with white urates, with some mucus this morning. Also, we found what seemed to be a partially digested worm yesterday in her cage. Potential constipation?
History - we received her from a local breeder, grandsire is brendan of scremealeons, she has been pretty robust and sassy but overall easy to handle

Cage Info:

Cage Type - reptibreeze 24x24x48
Lighting - 12 on 12 off, reptisun 5.0 linear and a 45 watt incandescent for basking
Temperature - Average 84 basking, 70 ambient, we use caliber 4R hygrometer and acurite weather station
Humidity - Humidity averages between 50 and 65%, see above for how recorded
Plants -We have a dwarf umbrella plant and multiple fake vines. We also have a 18" deep lay bin which she has not done anything with yet other than poop in it.
Placement - Low traffic area, closest vent is about 6 feet away from the cage, in room with another cage that has a male cham with vision barrier, top of cage is about 6.5 feet off the ground.
Location - Chicago il

Current Problem - We're concerned about her tail.for the past few days we've noticed a gray discoloration on her tail. It may have been there before and we're just noticing it more now as it is somewhat evident in other pictures but it seems more pronounced. It's mainly at the base and stays the same color even when she gets fired up. She is using her tail and all of her limbs. Perhaps some slight weakness at the base of her tail but hard to tell for sure. Please see attached pictures. Otherwise she is acting normal, except slightly low appetite. It's been about a month since she has shed so wondering if that is what's going on or if it's something else we should be worried about.

she looks fine.

she may be about to start a shed.

I know sometimes my females get gray tails. but after a bit of time it goes away.

She looks fine. I would however make sure that she has a laying bin in her cage. I've noticed with more than one female that their tails can turn gray to even black when gravid and for a period of time after laying. Our one female will never show gravid coloration in her body at all but her tail will turn almost black.

tks for sharing that tid bit of info on the tail turning colors while gravid. I recently aquired our first female a few weeks ago, and she's just about 6 months old. currently she's just 44 grams. eating like a pig.

Thanks for the feedback. She does have a lay bin. While I have seen her explore the bottom of her cage a few times about a week ago, I've not seen her digging at all.
