This is my first ever chameleon and of course I got a girl and she is so cute but little do I know about a gravid chameleon so thus is where iam at she just layed her first ever clutch I think it's called and they are not fertil for she has not been around any males and she layed 30 eggs and now that she is done she is very lathargic acting and looks really skinny and so iam freaking out because before this she was great trying to see if there is anything I can do to help her get her strength back and maybe iam just overreacting because yes that is a lot of work for something so small but it has been about 24 hr after now and she does not seem interested at all in food or drinking water all she does is just lay there on her stick under her basking bulb looking sooooo blah will she come back around on her own or what can some one please set my mind at ease :-(

Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear about your girl. Did you leave her in the bin until she was totally finished? It's possible she could have more eggs. Normally they are starving after laying. If she were mine I'd take her to the vet and get an X-ray to see if she has more eggs. You could try a different feeder something different might stir her interest.
 
She should be eating and drinking a lot. If she's not she might still have eggs or the process took a lot out of her. I've had them bounce right back in an hour and others take a week. I would be inclined to take her to the vet for xrays to be sure there are no eggs. She might need a calcium shot plus subcutaneous fluids. She definitely needs a lot of calcium right now. The process of laying the eggs--the birthing part--uses a lot of their calcium. Keep us posted.
