From my picture, does she look gravid? She just ate when I took the pic but I have noticed her coloration has been crazy. Noticed some gaping but I don't think its from anything except heat because the lamp stand slips and gets closer to the cage..
I've been following up with my vet to be certain we try and hold off her producing an infertile clutch

this was taken of her today; she is about 9 months old.

idk about panthers but she does loo pre big and nice a peachy :)

my guess is yes. hopefully someone else knows more.

well she did just eat so she is alittle bloated but im hoping someone can give me some early signs to look out.

Do you have a laying bin in for her? Regardless of whether she's gravid now or not, I think you should have a bin in for her.

well im waiitng on her new cage. i have a bin but its not accessible 24/7 and it wont be untill i get her new cage all set up... im not expecting eggs but its somehting to look out for since she is in and about that age range. im hoping to successfully breed her in 6 to 8 months off of her first clutch. i am monitoring this with my vet currently...

oh yeah i am. im so excited too. she is he product of two wild caught parents and can not wait to see the offspring!! check out the future sire in my album

today it seems she has no interest in the crickets... i will continue to monitor her and see if she eats. if she were gravid i would notice really dark coloration right?

Not necessarily. Mine has been the same bright pink color and she's just been really receptive. But when I got her she was still very pink and was already gravid with an infertile clutch. So she may be, but I don't know if color is something to go off of with 100% certainty. Have you been monitoring her weight? Sometimes that is the best thing to off of, if she's gaining a lot of weight suddenly.

Well its kind of hard because she is constantly growing and shedding. I've been looking out for any lumps in her belly. I also checked with my finger and didn't feel any lumps on her tummy. I'm going to cut back her food intake and see if maybe she is just full...I have uped the size of her crickets.. the problem is I have no way of monitoring her in an egg laying bin so I really don't wanna risk her getting away especially when I'm not home all day

How are you going to know when/if she needs to lay eggs if you don't give her a place to dig in the cage? How small is the floor of her cage?

If she is gravid, now is not the time to cut back on her food IMHO.

I agree. I think you should provide a shallow "digging spot" in the cage and make sure there's easy access. If she does go to it and start digging, put her in a laying bin. You can make sure she doesn't escape. Make sure there is substantial space above the sand so she can't climb the walls and cover the top with a fabric mesh like nylon net, just in case she figures out a way to get up there.
