gravid female help

Hi guys, I was just after a little advice. I first got my chameleon back in November under the impression it was male by some questionable advice from a reptile shop. The vivarium I also got was completely wrong, I have just changed it after reading and learning on this forum. My female is now gravid and haven't seen her eat or drink in a week now. Is this normal? The screen cage I have now is the right size at 4 foot tall but I haven't seen her move far in it and has deffinitly not been to the bottom to where the large sand box to lay her eggs are. I haven't yet seen her go into the basking spot either.

basking spot is 95 degrees. Humidity is 60-70. And night temp is 60-70 degrees. She looks healthy at the minute but im worried on the lack of food and water and movement around the new cage.

She is a friendly chameleon that will be happily basking but if I go near her she will come to greet me, im really worried that something will happen to this lovely reptile. If im doing something wrong please advise and I will act on it immediatley. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many many thanks in advance

Welcome...how easy is it for her to get to the bin? Make sure there's a vine that goes into it or some other easy access. 95 seems a bit warm for a female to me. That might be why she's hanging back. She's probably in the "80-85 degree" zone.

How new is the cage? They can take a week or so to adjust to a big change.

They can go quite awhile without eating, so don't worry overly on that yet.

You might want to fill out the "How To Ask For Help" form. There are some experts here and they can give you advice on ways to ensure your chameleon has a healthy life.
