Im from IL near Chicago. Are the wild grasshoppers here safe to feed as long as they are from an area w/ no pestacides?

Yes.

Chameleons love them. If you get really lucky you'll find a mantis or 2 as well.

That was the question. LOL I know there are toxic ones on the East coast but was asking about my local area. Why buy a book with such a knowledge base right here?
