Grandpa Chameleon

My Panther Chameleon is 8 years old now. He's slow and doesn't eat that often. I will be taking him to the vet for a check up this weekend.

I want to know other people's experiences... if you can hook me up with some advice and other info, that would be awesome.

:)

Very vague, what do you want people to share with you? other people's experiences with what, older chams?

My Nano (Nosey Be male) is 7.5 years old (and still the best looking Nosey Be I have ever seen, if I do say so myself...). He, too, has slowed up a bit but loves to cruise in the free range. He doesn't eat as much, as well, and has developed a couple growths on his head (on the skin). We just have to make him as comfortable as he can be in his old age and take special care because he isn't as agile as he used to be.

Have you had him all 8 years? I would love to see a picture of him

Sorry, I should have proofed my message again, I changed it around and I left out some info! haha But yes, I would like to know other people's experiences with older chameleons.

I've had Bert for the entirety of his life and he is looking like an old grandpa. I don't have any recent shots uploaded but, I will try and find some on my HD tonight.

Here are some pictures of him when he was 5:

Sadly, he isn't looking so beautiful and robust as these photos, hence the vet visit.

*sigh*
