Gout issue

Hello! I was wondering if I could get some advice for chameleon gout. I have taken my male veiled chameleon to the vet, and they told me it was gout. They also did a blood check, which is currently waiting to be scanned. Is there anything I can do right now? I've heard that gout can be a sign that your chameleon could die or something, and I really don't want that to happen. He has a small bubble of gout on his front right foot. I think he might be dehydrated. Any advice for gout? Thanks!

If they can get to it quick enough before he goes into full renal failure he should be ok, but it will be a up hill battle. Good luck

Did your vet give him any meds? How are you supplementing? For now give him only soft body feeders like silkworms and hornworms. Gout is very painful. I hope he gave him some pain meds.

The vet checked him, took blood samples to check for kidney weakness, and also took a gout sample. The results will come in soon. He does not seem to be in any pain. He is doing his normal activities like looking around, climbing up and down, eating, drinking, and changing color.
