Hello everyone! Im new here and new to keeping chameleons! :) Got myself a 4 month olf veiled female. And im feeding her fruit flies and crickets. But I want to feed her something else too.

Im thinking about walking sticks or mantis´s. Wich one of these are the most
nutritious and easiest for my cham to eat?

EDIT: Can she survive on only fruit flies and a couple mealworm beetles?

a 4 month old veiled should be much too big to eat fruit flies. Are you sure about her age? or do you mean days old?

Only a baby a month old your younger would eat fruit flies

Crickets
roaches
silkworms
blue bottle flys
walking sticks
mantis
hornworm
superworm (treat)
waxwrom (treat)
grasshopper (non posion)

are all appropriate feeders

be sure to gutload your feeders or else you just feeding empty nutrition

can you post a picture of her and her set up
This is her. She is about 2 inches without tale. dont have a camera so couldn´t take any pic of her enclosure...
I will getting crickets in about 1-2 weeks, will she be fine with fruit flies and mealworm beetles till then? :(

is she eating the fruit flies? It seems fruits would be pretty small for her so she would have to eat a lot of them to fill her tummy. young Veileds eat a LOT of food.

I would get another feeder as soon as you can
