Got my first Vieled chameleon! Question

Hi I brought my little veiled man home on Sunday, ive named him peetree, I am happy and have had moments of excitement but as he is my first chameleon and reptile Im mainly stressing like a first time mum, he seems to be acting normally but the only thing that is concerning me is so far he hasn't really left the top of his cage he just moves around up there to different sides.
Does this mean its too cold in the middle and bottom parts of the enclosure?
I have been taking temps but the enclosure is so big and screened that im concerned the middle bottom half of the enclosure isnt getting to the right temps? ive got a 75 watt bulb, do i maybe need a hotter bulb? but then wont the basking spot be too hot? he is 4 months old.
Near the top directly under basking spot is 30c a bit lower where he usually sits is 25/25c the very bottom is 18c then middle is 21/22, the temperatures range around the enclosure?

thanks but he is now moving more about the different levels of his enclosure i think he was just settling in as i have only had him since sunday :)

Glad he is settling in. Feel free to post pictures of him as well as your setup. Since this is your first chameleon, you might gain a lot of knowledge from others critiquing your setup.
