i just got him today he is no bigger than my index finger and to young to sex he moves around on the ground and up the screen but never tries the branches I have beaches of many sizes but he just chills on the ground
My babies preferred the screen when I first introduced them to their new homes. After about a week, they started using the branches like a normal Cham... It just takes time sometimes, but I agree, upload some pics and more info about the rest of the enclosure!
Your cham is probably scared and trying to take in his new home. Give him a week, and watch him carefully, but without him seeing you watching him. Also, as was said, make sure that he's got thin enough branches to grab onto since he's so small.
My baby cham did the same thing as yours when I first got him. He loved to climb on the sides and top. He loved to be upside down lol. Nowadays he only climbs on branches. Patience my friend. Patience.
