Got my Ballar cham!!!

Just got my panther in the mail less than a week ago from Eric at chameleons101. His name is Izzy after Israel Kamakawiwoʻole ( Somewhere over the rainbow). He is a 6-7 month old Ballar male, and he's a screamer! Right now he's in my hanging 18x18x30 reptarium, but he's bigger than I thought, so I'm already building a 2x2x4 for him. This is my first cham, and they are soo much cuter in person! Any input is more than welcome, and I figured you guys would ask for some pics!

Thanks! My girlfriend is from Hawaii, so she may have had a say in the naming of the cham!? You can still see some shed on his eyes. It has been a couple days, but I would imagine it's a tough spot to shed?

Mist him with warm water to help aid in loosening the shed.

He's been getting between 2-5 warm mistings a day(apx 2 mins ea), he didn't really care for the water when it wasn't warm...Can't really blame him? Thanks for the quick reply! I guess his eye shed will just anger him for a couple more days

Yes he does! He had a lot more chams available than were noted on his site, I got a ton of pics and he sent me the exact one that I wanted. My brother and I combined orders..he got a 3 mo slick baby...sooo cute! Eric has been a great help, and also very patient with a couple first time cham owners.

He's a handsome fellow; congrats! It doesn't hurt to mist them for longer than two minutes; I had a guy who usually took about four or five minutes to figure out what was going on ("What's this? - I hate it! - Wait - could it be - water? - It is water! Yay!") and then would slurp happily until my spritzer was empty. That might aid the shed a bit.

Thanks for the tip! I never really time the misting exactly, but I would guess 2-3 mins...I will shoot for longer times tomorrow. That shed on his eye has got to be buggin him.
